The news we have all been waiting for has come – The 2021 Honolulu Marathon Weekend is officially a go!

We were delighted by the statement from Mayor Blangiardi on October 27 that all outdoor road racing events can go ahead without participant limits.
In addition, Mayor Blangiardi stipulated:

• Vaccination is a requirement for participation
•  Masks are not required on the course, but in the start area.
•  Start to be staggered by 200 participants

Registration for all three events is still open here.

In addition to the rules set out by the Mayor as conditions for the races going ahead, we are implementing a number of changes to make everyone feel comfortable and safe.

• Addition of self serve automated water stations to reduce touchpoints
• Out of the 25 water stations on the course, 9 will be serviced and 16 will be self-service
• The automated stations will serve water only and be cleaned regularly by our team
• The serviced stations will have both Gatorade and water
• We will be providing masks to anyone who prefers to wear one
• All participants will be grouped into start groups to facilitate the staggered start

Changing your event distance- UPDATE: This option has now closed
Anyone who is signed up can still change event distance, such as Marathon to 10k.  Initiate an event to event transfer from your members hub.
1. Login in to your account
2. From the Entries Tab, select the event you are signed up for
3. Scroll down to the “Transfer to another event” section to initialize a transfer.
4. You will be asked to login to the registration system again as you are essentially signing up to a new event using the credits from your existing registration.
5. A $30 flat covers the transfer

Person to person transfer – UPDATE: This option has now closed
You can transfer your entry to another person.
1. Login to your members hub account
2. From the Entries TAB, select the event you are signed up for
3. Scroll down to the “Transfer to another person” and invite the person you want to transfer to
4. The $30 admin fee is paid by the person taking over the race entry.

The event transfer system has been extended and is currently open.
